Hi. I'm new to the forum and just checking in. We picked up our 2022 last week and have put approx. 100 miles on it - so far the only issue is the passenger side blind spot detection which the dealer said will be taken care of tomorrow.

Hello everyone, new member here. We have a 2019 Jeep Compass Altitude 4x4. It was my wife's DD for a year and then we passed it down to our daughter. She absolutely loves it and my wife is happy to be back in another CX-5.

Hi, my name's Rachel, I recently purchased a 2013 compass and love it. Have tried out the 4wd in soft sand and it suprise me. Not sure about beach runs just yet as I feel clearance could be an issue in my local area. Trying to work out tyre options and possible lifts that won't void my additional warranty I purchased with the vehicle. I live in South Western Australia and tbh the 4wd scares me a little in these as it's not really a full 4wd set up with high and low range. Anyway, for now it meets my expectations.

Hey everyone! I just purchased a 2017 compass high altitude. Looking for somewhere to find answers to questions that Im sure will arise when buying a used vehicle. Had it two days and the am/fm radio stops working for no reason. Im sure I will find answers here.

Welcome! I had a FWD Jeep Patriot for several years and while I didn't often challenge it, FWD was adequate for light off-roading and any kind of snow. If you have AWD, you should be fine.

Oh, a friendly suggestion: regardless of the owners manual, the CVT fluid should be changed at least every 50,000 miles. If it hasn't been done, or you don't know, make it a priority.

Welcome! I'm not the guy to help with electronics, but I'm sure someone on here can help. If you haven't yet, make a post in the Audio Systems forum.

Hello, I’m on my 3rd Jeep. I had a 2007 Jeep Patriot Limited I bought fully brand new, was absolutely in love with it, got to just over 200k Kms and in 2017 I had to retire it. I got a 2017 Jeep Patriot North Edition, it was about 1 year old, only 7k Kms on it. Got it to 109k Kms and it had a host of problems, I never really liked it very much to begin with, but I would have kept it longer if it wasn’t falling apart.

I just got the 2020 Compass Limited this week. For add on’s it’s got the 19 inch Rims, 8.4 inch Display with Apple Car Play and the Luxury Seat Group. It will be 2 in Oct and has 26k Kms on it. I am absolutely in love with this Jeep. It’s way more boss than either of my Patriots and the Apple Car Play is awesome, works with Google Maps. I couldn’t be any happier, just hope it lasts better than my 2017 North did.

Hello. I am a new member. I just bought Jeep Compass 11/2017 Limited and its on the way to Georgia, in 2 month it must arrive. Hoping I bought a right car, never had Jeep before.
Oh, the other Georgia. We have a Georgia in the US, too. Frankly if someone ordered a Jeep in either Georgia, getting it within 2 months would be pretty speedy by today's standards.

So welcome to the site! One friendly word of advice: the 2017-2018 Compasses had a problem with oil consumption. There was a computer update that solved the problem, but a lot of those early Jeeps got traded young before the problem was solved. Please keep a close eye on your oil level so you don't ruin your engine. A dealer can do the update and in my case it was free. Regardless, it's probably worth doing even if you have to pay for it. Either that or be prepared to add oil frequently.

Then again, maybe the previous owner had the update all done. So again, welcome!

Thank you very much for the information. I will take control of the oil. Hoping the previouse owner has solved the problem if it had. I bought it in iaai auction, loved the design of the car. We are having official Jeep Center in Tbilisi, what do you think, when the vehicle will arrive, they can look if the car was updated or not?

A franchised Jeep dealer should be able to do the update and may be able to check to see if yours was already done.

Thank you that you let me know. Have checked and my car needs to be reprogrammed and our franchised center can do it. Hoping it is easy and I should not be nervous.
It was quick -- I'd say less than an hour and some of that was driving it in and out of the garage. They gave me coffee while I waited. ☕
