It seems the fuel fill pipe on our 2018 is cockeyed and set at an angle. If the pump nozzle isn't at the exactly right angle, the overflow shutoff will continually activate and stop the station pump. Is this common with all Compasses or did we just get lucky?

I don't have that issue with our 2019.

Do you live in an area that has fuel vapor control "gators" on your filling station pump heads? Them things are a pain!

I've never had that problem with mine. One of my older Wranglers did, but I forget which one. I've had several and it wouldn't matter in this thread anyway.

Agree they can be a nuisance.

It doesn't matter where we stop for petrol. When the door is opened it obvious the filler pipe is at an angle.
