225/60/17 Firestone Winterforce on steelies. I had these on my 2017 Renegade and pulled them off when I traded it for the Compass.

I had a new set of "winter boots" mounted on our 2019 Compass November 21, 2020. Nokian Hakkapalitta R3 SUV 215/70r16. In years past I ran Bridgestone Blizzak WS60's on my wife's 2007 Chevy Aveo5 and swore by them until no longer available in the size I needed. Then in 2019, I decided to give the Nokians a try. They seemed even better than the Blizzaks. They can eat ice for breakfast, lunch, and dinner so decided to get some for the Compass. Having grown up in Michigan, I've never been shy of driving in winter ❄ weather on roads. Christmas Eve here in West Virginia we had around 5-6" of snow with ice underneath on most roads. No problems for these tires.

Yeah, I just added a Wrangler to the fleet for the same reason.

First time trying winter tires, think should be a good improvement for northern Ontario driving where we get lots of snow.
Bought these General Altimax Artic 12 tires with factory steelies from a 2017 Renegade that have less than 2000km’s on them.

You should noticed a marked improvement in the way your vehicle handles the snow and ice, most noticedly cornering and stopping.

Interestingly with the slightly stiffer sidewall of the General tire (winter tires) compared to the continental combined with the wider tire contact patch the jeep handles much better and has much better road feel than with the stock all season tires what came on my compass oem.
