I picked up my new '22 Trailhawk last Tuesday and drove it from the dealer to work. About 40 minutes into the drive the 10.1 radio volume started fading to where eventually it was almost nonexistent. It was OK later when when starting the drive home but faded again after about the same amount of driving time. The identical situation the following day so I dropped it off at the dealer but they couldn't find anything, only did a factory reset. The problem seemed to go away until returning yesterday. I hope it goes out again on the way home so I can stop at the dealer to show them the problem. Anyone else having similar problems?

Did you check in the settings menu for audio? There is a feature that quiets the volume when you brake and slow down. Took me a few days of owning it to figure out why that was happening. Hope this helps!

I recently purchased a compass limited 2022 I been having issues with the radio since day 2. After 2-4 hours of listening to the radio it starts loosing volume. It can be in 38 the highest and it sounds like if it was in 5 or no sound at all. I already took it to the dealer and according to them they can’t find the problem. What can I do ?

Same issue. 22 trailhawk. It has been frustrating. Took it to the dealership and the said it was a software update. Didn't resolve. I am going to look into that setting and see if that helps

have a 2022 jeep compass lux, only have 1030 miles on it and now having problems with the radio. this pass week the the sirius radio station would not change. was like it was stuck on that station and only that station. if i pressed another key it would go back to that one again. now the fm and am both work fine. this after noon got in car and it began to work again thinking this should not happen on a car i have only had for 3.5 months. plus on steering wheel the button to change the station works sometimes. dealer is checking into this problem told me that he has never seen anything like this before

It’s been 9 days since I took the car back to the dealer and until today that I called them and told them that I was going to take legal actions , I was informed that they will do other inspections. I will see what happens. But according to the dealer they have 3 cars with the same issue.

You can try to reset the uConnect, here's the procedure:

1. Put your vehicle into accessories mode (push start button once without having your foot on the brake)

2. Hold down the Green Phone and Voice Recognition buttons for 30 seconds (push the buttons immediately after pushing the start button, before the Uconnect system has a chance to fully boot).

3. Let go of the two buttons.

4. Turn vehicle off and wait for the Uconnect screen to go black.

5. Open driver’s side door for thirty seconds.

6. Close driver’s side door.

7. Restart vehicle.

8. Let the uConnect system load up and see if the concern is still present.

Update. Last weekend I started a 20 hour road trip. And sure enough the first 30 minutes volume started to fade till nothing. I was frustrated. I ended up inpairing my phone from uconnect and powered the car down for 15 minutes. After that I had no issues the rest of the trip. So I'm 90% sure it has to do with when the phone is paired. Maybe Android Auto. Idk Still needs fixed. As I'm unable to use my phone with the car. But maybe a this is a lead?

Had two instances one week apart where radio volume fades to zero and can't be turned back up (even if I try to shut radio off). Both times had sirius on, 2nd time was on blue tooth phone conversation, each time was about 1 hour into an 1 hour 45 minute interstate highway drive roughly 45 degrees outside. No warning. Works the next day! Any guidance or insights?

Car has 3500 miles on it.

No input that will be of help unfortunately. It has happened to me a few times. long trip etc.... Since it is at random and only after your driving for a long time the dealership never was able to duplicate.
It has to be a bug in the software . Mine reset after the Jeep was turned off for a few hours, then it would work normally as if nothing ever happened...
