So if I understand this correctly, the deal is that if no-one is sitting in the rear seats and the seat belt pre-tensioners go off in an accident, they may have enough force leveraged on the seatbelt guides (bezel) to unlatch the seatback and let all your cargo fly forward?

Somehow I think mine already has the flat style without any lip to guide the seatbelt, but I will look closer later.

Yes, sounds like a very theoretical problem to me, too.
It's possible that your seat back has different bezels. Allegedly only models for international markets are affected.

NHTSA is showing no recalls for my VIN# and the site says it was updated 7/20/18. I'm gonna guess recall are to specific countries and not worldwide.
