Hi allgrin:

Newbie here, looking to share a little of your wealth of knowledge!

I have a 2014 compass limited 2.4LHD, I am in Kazakhstan and the car was bought here new from a jeep dealer. The car was manufactured in Thailand or something like that! Anyway it has these H9 bulbs and the light is shockingly bad! The streets where I live have no streetlights and even with full beam you can only see a few hundred yards, they are terrible! I am looking for some advice as to an aftermarket kit or complete headlamp replacement, it’s my wife’s can and she is a fairly new driver but cannot see anything at night so will not drive. It’s a real issue with this car!

Would appreciate some suggestions and pics and links if you have

Cheers,

Chris

Hi there and welcome to the forum! If you would like to get better visibility and higher light output, you may consider upgrading your bulbs to LED. Here are the LED conversion kits we carry, and we ship worldwide. When selecting one, make sure you add the right bulb size. Though before I'd recommend checking the condition of the plastic lens. If it is scratched, chipped or due to any other reason non-transparent, it is a good idea to polish the plastic first. If that's the case, you may be interested in adhering a clear cover on the lens for further protection.
