20c below zero, car started fine, stopped for an errand, car wont' restart.
Dash board lights up, but no turnover.
Not good.
Tow guy comes after two hour wait, I open the door, oh ya, the remote door opener wont work.
The alarm goes of and cannot be shut. Car cannot be started so we load it on flat bed and off to dealer.

They find a defective module, replace it and all is fine.
Oh but, they forgot to reprogram the doors to shut automatically when I drive. Guess I will live with that until next visit, won't run special for that.

The two hour wait was for the CAA, I first tried the 24hr service card that came with my purchase of the car, the first number I tried (my dealer) and I was told to call the 1-800 number, useless, they suggested I find my own towing. Thanks for nothing.

Well - I have never been a lover of all the modern electronic features being built into todays cars. Nothing to do but bring it to dealer.
My other car is a '75 TR6, big fan of any thing UK on wheels.
On the TR if it didn't start, most often I could get going.

A TR6... lucky man.
Personally I prefer the German mark. Iv'e a 1968 Bug, roof chop convertible, that I bought 2009, 1776cc twin 40 webbers, flip front, roll cage. It was built for racing. I found it in a barn where it lay for 10 years, and paid very little for it.
Unfortunately I was laid up last year due to illness and I'm only get'n back on me feet now (literally). So I have a mild resto to do this year. Car is run'n well just needs a clean up.
