Anyone else having this issue? I keep trying to send the activation email but it says it has failed and to “try again”. I’ve tried about 15 times....

Calling hasn’t helped, they know there’s an issue but can’t do anything to resolve it.

I just want to take advantage of this sweet feature!

I have a slightly different but related issue where the radio says the Sirrius XM Guardian services are activated, but whenever I use the app or log on the the Mopar owner website the status shows as not activated. I have the same story with calling. They acknowledge that there is an issue, but the representatives are all but useless when it comes to trying to fix it. I am always told that a support ticket will be open but the issues never gets resolved. After more the 4 months of back and forth and countless hours on the phone with Sirrius XM Guardian support, I have unfortunately just given up hope of ever getting this to work out of frustration.

If possible, shouldn't the dealer replace the unit or something?

I tried calling again, and I can get everyone to agree that it is an account issue and not hardware issue. When I call Sirrius they say everything is activated and working, but when I log onto the app or the owner portal it shows the Guardian services as not activated. My best guess is something is not linking my Jeep owner account to my Sirrius XM Guardian account, but I cannot get anyone from Jeep or Sirrius who know what to do about it.

Does anyone have any update on this? I bought my Compass over 2 weeks ago now and I'm still having issues activating it that nobody seems to know how to help. Thanks!

I found this on another web site maybe it will help?
If you login to the Jeep/Mopar website and have registered the car but it doesn't say "Owner" above your car then according to their system it's not really yours, despite you registering the car as such. They need to update their database and once they do this the activation works perfectly. Seems like a big issue in the sales systems when they report the cars as being sold and also when users register the car! Either way, go online and chat them up and they can fix it right.

I have the same issue.The app works fine on the phone however when I log into the website sometimes it says active and others it says expired. Tonight I logged in to look at something and it said expired. I logged into the website again about an hour later and it showed active.

So I have an update on this. After almost 3-4 weeks of calling Sirius, Guardian, Jeep, everyone - I finally spoke to someone at Jeep who listened. When he pulled up my VIN number, they had the car listed as still being in Mexico, and not purchased by me. He had to actually call the dealership, and they had to fax him over proof of purchase, then it took about a week for them to process the change so I could actually be the owner - then I was able to activate it finally. It was SO frustrating, but finally works now!
