Hello Everyone,

I'm new to this forum since i just purchased a 2007 Compass Limited 4x4 3 months ago.

It is nice and drives well, the only things i dont like is that it is very sluggish going uphill and it is very noisy inside the cabin.

I'm thinking of replacing the sparkplugs to see if it will help with the sluggishness but i would gladly accept recomendations.

Also, if you know how to reduce the noise inside the cabin i would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you for your help,

not enough detail here.
But assuming you have the CVT build with maybe the 2.4L engine. They transmission automatically downshifts (RPM's go up to 3k at least) increasing with the load and/or throttle pressure. If the gear selector shows in D on the dash. There can be a short delay in reaction to throttle but it will pull pretty good.
