New here - wife is getting a 2018 (Latitude, manual trans). I do my own maintenance - just looking at common parts. Not looking to replace struts now, just looking at availability/costs.
Looking at front struts, there are like 7 different OEM p/n's for front struts (14 if you count both sides). And that's when searching by VIN (moparamerica.com, perhaps there's something better). Rockauto isn't much different. WTF? I've never had a car which had more than 2 choices (auto vs manual, 4 cyl vs 6 cyl, standard vs sport), and usually just 1.
What's up with that, and how do you figure out what you have/would need to order? It's like they have different struts depending on front axle weight, in 20 lb increments.
