I have a 2008 Jeep Compass with the Tire Air Pressure Sensors. To begin it's just another added feature that you get whether you like it or not. Totally useless in Canadian Climates.I know there's a Wireless Connection of some sort to send the signal to the Dash Indicator telling me a potential problem with one or all 4 tires.
I've looked through the Owners Manual , the Fuse Panel index trying to trace the Tire Sensor but to no avail. I do know the chances of this not standing alone that it could be tied in with something else. The Plan is to disconnect it somehow so that I wouldn't have to look at the Indicator Light shining on the Dash constently after I have put Winter Snow Tires on Winter Rims for the Season. Or is it Suck it Up , Live with the Annoying Indicator. Or do like we did in the old days when the Oil Light stayed on and you knew there wasn't a problem with the Oil Pressure so you just stuck a piece of Gum over the Dash Light ??
