Is it possible? Has it been done? Should I assume it would void my warranty?

I have a 2011 Latitude 2.0L, its pretty sluggish. I was thinking there is so much space under the hood can a turbo be installed. When it comes to electronics I'm a genius but when it comes to cars I'm mechanically retarded.

Any thoughts? Someone steer me in the right direction.

no, turbocharging is not an option. there is no way to tune the engine to tell it the turbo is there, so it will run worse than it does now, assuming that it will even run at all. your only option is to trade for a 2.4, or get another car alltogether.

AEM FIC you by pass around 29 wires dyno tune where somebody know how tune with AEM FIC so in fact more simple to trade your compass for 2.4L and if you have 4x4 compass no way the stock drivetrain will support more torque and hp on your turbo set-up.

This may be a stupid question, but here goes . . .
I understand the Compass 2.4 CVT won't take a turbo without a major re-build.
BUT, will it take a supercharger and, if so, does anyone know where I can get one? My 2007 (with 24,500 mi) is paid off now, and I'm wondering what can be done to rev that technological marvel up a bit.
Any ideas?

Everything is possible depend of how much money you have for this project. My opinion it's better ton buy acura RDX or subaru WRX all ready turbo then try to boost you jeep. It's not only the cvt, transfert case and differentiel are good but I got a big douth is you had more hp and torque.

And lets not forget how many things on the compass are computer regulated - meaning the engine will start "crying" when you boost it. That's assuming you haven't destroyed the transmission.

For tune compass sc or turbo you need to buy piggy back AEM FIC. I got a friend swap drivetrain from evo 10 on is caliber. But now he got a caliber cost over 50K for awd install... My opinion waste of money but one againt everything is possible.

Aem fic install:

First off I would like to say a huge thanks for Real Tune for making these as easy as install as possible. The prepped harness and instructions are all you need to make this install go super fast. I didn't take many pictures (couldn't find my camera) but there's not really much to show. Install from start to starting the car was about 4 hours but I was taking alot of breaks. Will update this thread when I find my camera and get the rest of the work done.

Uhg what a mess

As she sleeps for the night. I have plenty of slack in the harness to tuck everything away nice and neat. I just wanted to make sure everything worked properly before I did.

To anyone nervous about installing an FIC, buy from Real Tune and its really not that difficult. Car started right up first time, had a code, turned the car off. Restarted the car and the code was gone. Car idles and revs up much better (less hesitation I think from ditching the stock injectors).

Yeah in the spring I am planning an ECU remapping. Now my Compass is with 138bhp but with a 228ft-lb of torque. And because of the turbo this torque is available mainly between 1700 to 2300 rpm. After the upgrade, the tunning shop promise me 170 bhp and around 270ft-lb torque.

I am planing this because I want to equip the compass with A/T tires and RRO lift kit, which will result in sluggish respond of the car and greater fuel consumption...and on turbo diesel an ECU remapping results in greater fuel economy. I`ll keep you posted when I made the upgrades. Cheers!

Manifold, Turbo, i also used srt4 downpipe, magnaflow dual center exhaust, BOP, Tial 38M Wastegate, Fuel return system, srt4 stock injectors, FMIC, all the oil lines of course, AEM FIC. Thats about it, no internal job engine yet.

I hope i put on some srt4 rods and piston in summer and hit 14psi +

WOW! Dyno or real world results?:)))
no but he wrote that's:

I recently ran against a stock caliber srt4 from 40 to around 130 and i stood by side until we hitted 115+, then he started slowly pulling upfront. But i still need a better tune.
