I have had my 2022 Jeep Compass since July and it's been in 2 different Jeep dealerships 3 times for all of these same issues. First dealership said it needed a software update and to take it home and connect to Wifi, did that and software said it was up to date. Second time same dealership, said the sensitivity needed

turned up on lights. They turned that up and same result. But never said how to fix the UConnect. Third dealership had it for 2 days to say that they can't get it to 'recreate because it's electrical' and had me pick up my car today. Nobody seems to know what's going on and I am super frustrated. I typically have no radio at all because of this issue.
Errors read as follows: Service Auto Headlights, No internet signal, attempting to reconnect, And Battery of Uconnect box is temporary low. SOS call and related functions maybe unavailable. Along with Auto Collision light on dash when it does all this.

Yes, many of us with the 2022 have the same problem as shown on first picture and local dealers don’t know about any other “solution” then “waiting for an OTA update” that has been announced “on its way” since longtime by @JeepCares, but nothing arrived until now.

I will be going for my first annual service soon and will insist once more.

Also, the thing with this OTA updates is that it might be true, but in 1 year now, I have never had any system messages that any where made…..

I had the same problem. They can flash the BCU at the dealership and that will solve the problem.

The issue is related to a "certificate" that didn't finish updating (probably because the vehicle was shut down before the update was finished).

You can do this while driving (you just won't have any tunes/nav).
Force the radio into a hard reboot by holding down the power button until the radio comes back up.
This will force the update to finish. If the hard reboot doesn't solve the problem take it in and have them update the telematics box (TSB 08-184-22)

U Connect 5 has over 52 different modules, they clearly have some modules that need updating at the dealership and some that work via OTA update.

Sadly not all dealerships are being updated as fast as they should be.

Same with me they even replaced my radio and the stuff is all still happening as quickly as a few hours after leaving the dealership I’m so over it
