RRO lifts are SUPER LATE

Anyone considering ordering a lift kit from Rocky Road Outfitters (RRO) I want to share that their lifts are delayed and backed up and are not communicating this to people. I ordered a lift kit for my Jeep last week and as of 3/19/18 it had not arrived.

I called RRO and was told there is a large back order on ALL lift kits. The reason being told was that there is an increase in orders and had I ordered my lift kit in January, this wouldn't have been a problem. The person on the phone said there is a new batch that will be worked on next week and I should check back in 7-10 days. This isn't cool and they should communicate this to customers. So don't waste your time paying for a rush delivery. Its unfortunate because I ordered new wheels and tires to be delivered this week.

Unless you don't mind waiting about 3 weeks, I advise anyone wanting a lift kit, I recommend calling them to verify availability and delivery. I will update this once I receive delivery and hope to post some pics with the new wheels.

LIFT KIT UPDATE: 3 weeks later its here.

After 3 weeks waiting. The lift kit FINALLY arrived. Each week I had to call to ask for a follow up on delivery, after asking for my refund, did they suddenly decide to send my delivery. As the box shows, the box arrived heavily damaged and I doubted all items were in place, but surprisingly it wasn't. If the box weighs 20 lbs, it makes no sense why they would use such a flimsy box that was easily damaged and would have torn if it had gotten wet. Regardless, its here and I will go have it lifted.

BUYERS BEWARE. I would advise anyone, to FIRST do their homework. No communication, poor excuses ranged from machines being down to excess of orders during this period of time. If I had to do it over, I would NOT BUY from here, and I wont buy the remaining items I want for my SUV here.

Here is a picture of the box and items I received.

Yea, they aren’t the most professional. Also let me know how your lift kit does once it’s installed. I have the same on my compass and the rear suspension creaks and squeaks so badly that it’s almost unbearable. I’ve taken it to the dealer and they said they put something similar to wd40 on it and the squeaking went away for 2-3 days but soon returned.

So here is my compass with the 2 inch lift. With the new wheels it looks tons better and more aggressive, which I like. Is it worth it, yes but I would have preferred 3 inch lift though.
How does it drive? Any changes in handling, acceleration...etc? I'm looking at getting the same list and tire size on my Compass here soon. Just looking for some feedback before I pull the trigger.

I had creaks and squeeks in the back so I bought the WD40 with silicon (grey can not blue) and I got under the car and sprayed the hell of every area that might move or was adjusted including the bushings. This helped a lot. The blue WD40 might help but thought the silicone and lubrication of the grey can would work best.

I bought All Terrain Tires and know they are pretty loud on the road, which I expected. I drive off road maybe one weekend per month, so if your not going to do this or more, then buy non AT tires and save yourself the sound. But I love the aggressive look and have gotten many compliment.

Also the lift WITH alignment cost me $350, which is great because other pro lift shops wanted to charge me $600. So I ended up going to this small tire shop and they did a good job, especially because there weren't many pieces to do, however they estimated 4 hours but took them all day, which Im glad I dropped off my car and they didn't rush.

Thanks for the info, I’ll definitely try it out. The dealer confirmed the noise was coming from the bushings. I’ll post an update when i get some wd40 on it.
