Well... I am not famous, but Snow White is getting her 15 minutes of fame. So it seems that most Jeep enthusiasts would prefer to lift their rides rather than lower them like I did (which is completely fine since everyone has their own preferences). But I couldn’t find any options for lowering the new Compass. Anyways, I reached out to Madness Autoworks and ended up becoming a “tester” for Compass lowering springs. Anyways, to make a long story short, everything worked out and guess whose pictures they are using on their website??? Check it out:

Question for you, Are those Caliper covers?

I was just looking at those, did you order custom color or standard red?

Looks great. Now if someone offered a turbo kit for 2.4 you could have yourself a smaller version of the Trackhawk. :)

I mean it is too late for me. But I would still like to see if they can fit their new 2.0 Turbo they are using for the Wrangler and Cherokee in this. Seems wrong that this guy gets only 1 engine choice.

For anyone buying this kit their website is wrong unless they have updated it as of a day ago. The website says progressive springs on the front and linear on the back however I called them to clarify as the springs come with no instructions or indication of which spring is which. The installer guy said the website is wrong and the progressive springs (shorter and fatter with the extra coil) go in the rear not the front then proceeded to send me pics from their install. Additionally when you do the fronts, when you put the springs in the factory cups and line them up the spring will be completely crooked (before you put the top hats back on) and you might think WTF is this. According to the installer this is fine and once everything is put back together with weight and tension on them they will sit normally. If anyone in curious the springs are made by Vogtland.

Yep, you are correct. I just checked and saw that the website has the springs listed incorrectly. The linear springs go in the front and the progressive springs go in the rear. As far as the front springs sitting crooked, they won’t sit straight until the caps (top hats) are on. This happens with the stock springs, too. My install went smooth. Here are some pics of the springs seated in the spring perch (cup). The first two pics are the front springs and the last two pics are the rear springs.

Yea I have everything installed now and its fine. When I've done springs in the past, including Vogtland springs, they have all sat nicely in the cups which is why I thought it was weird with these being crooked.

Are these photos you took of your own install? These are the same photos the guy in Cali sent me saying they were from when they did it in their "shop" but I found it odd that their shop would be in a driveway in a neighborhood.

Glad everything turned out fine with your install. Post some pics of your Compass. I bet it looks awesome! Did you decide what wheels you are going to get?

The pics I posted of the springs are from my own install. Since I was a tester for Madness, they have my install pics, too. Maybe they didn’t have better ones to send you. LOL... At least everything worked out!
