I have a base model 2009 Compass. I am having a strange problem with my front wipers. They sometimes come on for no reason, stay on and won't turn off for a couple minutes. There seems no rhyme or reason as to why.

Anyone have any thoughts?

First welcome to the forum ...........I hope you enjoy it........and sorry to say that I have no idea why your wipers are acting this way.........2009 = under warranty..........don't bother go to your dealer.......

Yeah, I don't believe in Gremlins myself haha, but really can't offer up an explanation for that, so as has been mentioned here already, dealership looks like your best bet. Be sure to keep us posted on that one and good luck!
