A black Limited with the 5-speed and a sunroof. Doesn't sound like a huge request.
It has been over six weeks since I wrote the order for my Compass and the dealer unable to give me a delivery date.
For over 30years I have only owned standard shift cars and could never imagine paying "extra" to have an auto-shifter. As well I understand in Canada the 5-speed's fuel economy makes it eligable for a sales tax credit while the auto-stick is not.
Well I test drove both the CVT, which was pleasant enough for one foot driving and the 5-speed. The 5-speed was smooth so there was no second thought. Just never imagined the 5-speed would be so illusive. I am sure I could have had an automatic by now, the dealer is sitting with over a dozen on his lot. Any that I have seen parked around the city have been autos also.
Are most people chosing the automatics?
