I have a 2014 Jeep Compass 2.0L and the horn has stopped working when you press to activate. The horn is functional however because it does chirp when locking the doors. Is this a known issue with a known fix? I searched several forums but haven't read anything definitive, other than the fact that others are reporting the same issue.

It seems no one here gives 2 craps about the older models, all active convos seem to be centering around the 2nd gen.
My guess would be you're looking at a fault in the steering wheel - the actual horn button or the wiring from that button. Good luck.
