I’ve done everything I can do to try and get them to take care of the issue. I have asked for a buy back, a replacement of a car of same value and they won’t even talk to me from the dealership.Stellantis closed the case I had open with them because the car isn’t throwing any codes and it makes the bang sound. Been told my multiple mechanics outside of Jeep that it is the transfer case and it could lock up, cause a wreck, it could be trying to throw itself into 4wd. They drive it and I get my freshly detailed, full tank of gas car back dirty, handprints all over it, tires look like it had been driven down a dirt road and on empty with the gas light on. Patriot CDJR of Tulsa is absolutely the worst people in the world to deal with. Their GM won’t even talk to me and they have the switchboard girl careen my calls and not answer if I call from my cell but if I call from a different number they answer and promise to call back and it have been one month that I have called and left my number and they have yet to call me. ONMVC is working on a complaint that I filed against Patriot so I guess we will see how this goes!

I have a 2024 Jeep Compass Limited and was wondering if anyone is having the same issue that I’m having. Driving down the road 55-57 mph and my car makes a loud bang (sounds like a shot gun - is the best way I can describe it). I bought it new December 27, 2024 and have had it in the shop 3 times since. Dealership is telling me they can’t find or do anything since no codes are being thrown. I have filed a compliant with Stellantis and with ONMVC. Stellantis has closed the case since my car was given back to me. The dealership said they would start a case before they could go back on lemon law. Was told it had to be in the shop for the same time 4 time before they can look at lemon law. Can someone help with this ? I’ve been told my several other mechanics that it could be the transfer case and it could cause a wreck. I’m definitely scare to death to drive this car and when I told Stellantis that I was afraid that someone was going to get hurt their Rep had the nerve to tell me she appreciated my concern. I guess they aren’t scared of a lawsuit.
Dont know if this will help you try turning off your traction control. I have a 2020 it makes a bang at take off its been to two different shops the first one I dont think they knew what they was doing. The second one was a jeep dealership and they couldn't find anything wrong untill recently I found a blog about it turning off the traction control did the trick.

I had my 2012 Nissan rogue for almost 11 years. Best are ever. I had 148,000 on it sold it to a high school girl and she has finished 2 years high school and now second year of college. Still going - wish I had stuck with Nissan. Live and learn
Same here! We had a Nissan Sentra for years that we traded purchasing a new Challenger in 2007. Airbag warning "ding" right out the gate. After another brand new Challenger with sunroof issues, we purchased a Nissan Kicks as a back up. Then last year our new Jeep went up in flames parked in our driveway after just 11 months, but that 4 year old Kicks is still going strong with no problems.

Same here, own a Jeep compass2023. Still fighting with Jeep, have had nothing but issues 5 months after purchasing, have had to drive 50 minutes back and forth to dealership for diagnostic and then sometimes repairs. So no I've wasted many hours of my time, $$ gas(on rental filling up gas too), necessary milage on vehicle. This experience has been the worst experience in purchasing a new vehicle, i paid cash for a totally loaded Jeep Compass and $2800 for an extended warranty that they now tell me runs alongside the manufacturer's warranty, which I have never heard of an extended warranty beginning when you purchased the car. It's always been after The manufacturer warranty ends.

2024 compass It took about 6 months but I finally got my transfer case replaced. My service 4wd light would come on and my front end would jerk and clunk. It would only happen on long freeway drives 2-4 hours long. Once you turn the key off, any active codes will store. I had to wait until the light came on and drive to the nearest dealership wherever I was to get codes ran. Something in my transfer case was overheating and implausible data from TCase were the 2 active codes. My dealership could never recreate it. I contacted jeep cares and they were helpful in getting answers sometimes. I kept going back and documenting everytime it happened. Pictures with mileage, videos of it happening .It never happened city driving only when i traveled out of town. Once they replaced the transfer case the 4wd light has stopped coming on. I still do have the AEB light for my emergency braking that comes on and then turns off my forward collision warning by itself and that light stays on until you manually go in the radio and turn it back on though🙄
