Disable door lock horn beep

Is there a way to disable the beep on door lock.

Sorry if this has been covered allready, if it's in the owners manual, consider me blind.

yeah, found it...press & hold lock for 4 seconds then press panic then release. Doesn't work. wtf??

oh well, beep it is!
