(2014 Sport 4x4 2.4L, 130K) Hi everyone. Here's the issue. A few months ago, my vic starting hesitating. Code was a P2101. The ETC light would come on and start flashing, along with the TC, ABS, and check engine light. Shutting the vic off and the restarting worked for a while, but never fixed it. I cleaned the throttle body and the problem went away for a few months, but came right back. New code was a U0401. I ordered a new throttle body and the vic sat for about 3 days. Part came in, went to start it up before installing the part, and new problem. Cranks, but won't start. I put the new throttle body on a week ago and it started right up. I drove it, put some gas in, and considered it fixed. Next morning, crank and no start. No codes displayed on the dash, my cheapo scan tool doesn't show any codes, and it has a decent battery. I tried it again yesterday and, after a couple attempts and cycling the key, it started. Ran it for 20 minutes, shut it down, and it restarted easily. This morning, cranks but no start, still no codes. I'm at a loss here. Is it possibly a sensor or the pedal (TPS)? Any help is much appreciated!

Check the relays in the relay box on the frame rail below the driver side headlight. That box is known for corrosion. The main relay is in there, and if the relay or the wiring is corroded it can definitely cause issues like that. If corrosion is found, the corroded wires and connectors will need to be cut off and new wires/connectors spliced in.
