2012

It's under the dash, driver's side, to the right of the hood release.

Thanks.... as I said, I know where it is. I want to know how to open the panels without damaging the plastic.

I don't think I've ever seen a car where you have to remove a panel to access the ODBII port, are you sure that's necessary? (Like Eugene, I wouldn't know on a 2012, I have a 2nd gen)

Have you looked in the owner's manual? If no manual in your glovebox you can get the manual online for free. Also could try youtube.

I read the manual first. I scoured the internet second. I reached out here third. Still, no direction as to how to pop the dash panels so as to access the port. I dont want to just start prying.
